CBU Worship Arts

The Worship Arts division of the Collinsworth School of Performing Arts at California Baptist University is committed to preparing men and women for a lifetime of service in music and worship leadership for the glory of God, the building up of his church, and the good of the world.


We offer undergraduate and graduate degrees in worship arts and ministry in a variety of delivery means, led by a team of talented faculty and our world-class advisory board of worship artists.


Through conferences, podcasts and digital media, articles, and musical resources, CBU Worship Studies is also committed to providing resources for local churches throughout the country.

Program Highlights

Bachelor of Music in Worship Arts and Ministry

Study music, theology, platform effectiveness, pastoral leadership, administration, technical arts, music production, and much more.

Study with some of the nation's leading worship leaders, innovators, and influencers including Meredith Andrews, Hector Jimenez, Anthony Evans, Dr. David Toledo, Mike Harland, Tommy Walker, Cliff Duren, John Bolin, and many more.

Consistent opportunities to apply skills and hone craft through interactive worship forums, large and small church internships, CBU chapel services, and local and regional worship events.

Master of Arts in Worship Arts

Fully-accredited, 34-unit, virtual (online) worship degree that can be completed in 1 or 2 years.

Deep dive into worship theology, pastoral leadership, and platform effectiveness.

Relevant, experienced faculty featuring some of the nation's leading worship leaders, innovators, and influencers including Dr. David Toledo, Mike Harland, Tommy Walker, Cliff Duren, Tom Brooks, and many more.
